Editors' Comments
Olympus style for the novice photographer, the impressive 6 megapixel FE-120 is a spectacular deal for under $200. The Olympus FE-120 wants to be the new user's best friend, and at such an affordable price it seems like a friend indeed. The 6 megapixel sensor is a good start, and if you can deal with the fact that the camera's movie mode is silent, the FE-120 might be a good fit. The camera offers 16 scene modes which accommodate nearly every possible shooting condition, and its slight frame is no trouble for those on the move.

Olympus FE-120 Reviews
Olympus FE-120 Reviews by Digital Camera-HQ Users

I bought this camera for my wife as a christmas gift, and I have been trying it out. It is a very very good camera, I have an Olympus sp 500 uz, and although the FE 120 is not as good as the SP 500. As a point and shoot camera it's easy to use and the quality of pic's is out standing. In my opinion if your in the market for a camera under £100 then you will be hard pressed to beat this one.

We bought this camera so I could easily carry it around in my purse. Well, I can't tell you how many fuzzy, out of focus pictures we have gotten from it. I'm not new to digital cameras, as we have an older sony digital camera, but it never gave us out of focus pictures.
This camera has caused me to loose precious memories, because the pictures are out of focus. We have changed settings, read the directions, tried everything, but now, we are in the market for another camera.
Very, very disappointing.

This camera is very easy to operate and understand, the quality of pictures is fantastic, it would give my cannon A-1 a run for it's money, it has a 15 sec movie mode, no sound, th ats ok, don't think that made any difference in my purchase, GO FOR IT!

Olympus FE-120 Comments & Questions (write your own!)
I think that the biggest difference is the megapixels- FE-150 has five and FE-160 has six.
The only other information I could find as far as differences between these two says that the FE-150 has a slightly larger LCD screen and a video output, which the FE-160 doesn't have. I think the FE-150 also films in .MOV, while the 160 films in Motion .JPG... other than that I cannot find much info about these cameras.
I would say that the FE-160 is a better buy just because of the extra pixel, since the other differences don't seem to be very major. It would depend on pricing and your priorities in a camera, though.
What I recommend is resetting your camera. This is a fairly easy procedure which involves either going into your setup menu and choosing "reset," or, removing the batteries for a few minutes. After which, you should have the camera reset to factory default settings.
Also, see if you can replicate the issue with an AC adapter. If you can, then batteries are the likely culprit.
If the issue still persists, you may have it serviced by Olympus. ( olympusamerica.com/cpg_sect... ) And you should decide on that before your warranty runs out.
