Olympus Stylus 240
Editor's Review
The leader of Olympus' 2007 7-megapixel line, the Olympus Stylus 240 packs a lot into its slim, six-tenths of an inch deep body. The 5x optical zoom is a wonderful addition, surpassing the typical average for ultracompact digital cameras, and giving users access to new depths of photography. The FE-240 also has Olympus' intuitive menu design and one-button style, which provides novice and beginning users with an easy-to-understand interface that helps them attain the best picture possible.

Olympus Stylus 240 Comments & Questions (write your own!)
You can get most of the relevant information here ( dpreview.com/reviews/specs/... ).
Hope this helps!
Also is there any way by which I would be able to know how much time is left before I need to re-charge again? (Apart from green/red battery indicator - that indicates almost nothing)
Olympus claims a battery life of approximately 180 shots for the FE-240. There haven't been many user reviews of the camera yet, so it's hard to say whether it actually lives up to this standard or not.
As I haven't used the camera personally, I'm not sure about the low battery indicator.
Hope this helps!
This is good enough for most purposes because you need to keep a distance from the object for light to shine on it.
Unless someone who already owns one comes by, an answer to your question is going to be hard to come by at the moment. None of the major review sites have a full review up yet (they usually do extensive testing in night time/low light shooting), and there aren't many user reviews around yet either. The ones that have been posted aren't really very useful in that regard.
Hopefully full reviews will start appearing soon and we'll have some evidence to work with.
Good luck!
The good news: I understand that there is LCD technology in the pipeline that actually works BETTER in the sun!
I know, I didn't answer your question. But you might as well ask ME how YOU like your car.
