The SZ-10 joins the ranks of compact zooms with over-the-top 18x zoom ranges. That's tied for the most powerful zoom factor in a camera this size, so that counts for something. Other than that, it's built around a standard CCD sensor (eschewing the popular CMOS trend), so picture quality should be solid at base ISO settings and less so in darker settings. It does pack Olympus' 3D photo capture mode, if that gimmick is up your alley.
