Olympus TG-3
Olympus improves on a favorite waterproof camera, the TG-3.
By Hillary Grigonis, Last updated on: 6/19/2014

Olympus makes a minor upgrade to the already excellent TG-2 with the TG-3, expected on shelves in June 2014. The TG-3 keeps our favorite features about the TG-2, including a bright f2.0 lens and excellent macro mode for stunning close-ups, but adds wi-fi and four microscope modes for macro. While both are good improvements, you can still get solid images and save around $100 with the TG-2, if wi-fi doesn't interest you. With the 1/2.3 sensor and f2 lens, the TG-3 is the best rugged compact camera on the market right now. Though a tad pricer than some options, the lens sensor combo and macro capabilities offer excellent image quality.
