Hey! You should know that Olympus has released a newer version of this product: the Olympus TG-320.
Olympus TG-310
Editor's Review
The TG-310 is Olympus' continuation of their popular TOUGH series. The TG-310 is appropriately indestructible: waterproof to 10 feet, shockproof from 5 feet, and freezeproof to 14 degrees Fahrenheit. The 14 megapixel sensor and 3.6x optical zoom are more typical of a point-and-shoot, although the 3D photo-capture is not. It's sort of like a panorama-assist mode, where you'll have to take two side-by-side images to get the effect to work. Of course this will only be useful if you have a 3D-capable television or computer monitor. Otherwise, you can just ignore that mode. Otherwise, the TG-310 looks to be a reasonably priced, reasonably capable tough guy. Also see the TG-610, which has a longer zoom and is rated for deeper water.
