Olympus TG-610
Editor's Review
The TG-610 is Olympus latest iteration of the TOUGH series, though the TOUGH moniker has been dropped in favor of a generic TG tag. The 610 is the tougher of Olympus' two TG models this year, and appropriately indestructible: waterproof to 16 feet, shockproof from 5 feet, and freezeproof to 14 degrees Fahrenheit. The 14 megapixel sensor paired with a 5x optical zoom look great for capturing underwater moments, as does the 720p HD video and 3D image-capture capability (it's akin to panorama assist mode, and you can only see your results if you have a 3D TV or computer monitor -- or, you can just ignore the 3D mode altogether). The only differences between this and the less expensive TG-310 is longer zoom and the depth rating (the 310 can only go 10 feet underwater).
