The VR-340 packs a large 10x zoom into a little body. It doesn't have the latest CMOS sensor or 1080p video, but for $150 you can't fault it for these omissions. The previous model, VR-320, was faulted in reviews for somewhat poor autofocus at the telephoto end of the zoom and downright bad low-light image quality. Hopefully these issues have been addressed.
