Editor's Review

With a zoom range and wide angle optics that lead the long zoom category, Panasonic's FZ70 looks to be a top contender. The powerful 60x zoom lens is paired with a solid optical image stabilization system. Panasonic also claims the new sensor in the FZ70 reduces noise by 10-15 percent over previous Lumix models. The f2.8-5.9 lens is also fairly bright. Videos are shot in full 1080/60i HD with autofocus enabled; the FZ70's microphone also zooms with the lens to help prevent the background noise from overpowering the subject.

Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ70 Reviews

Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ70 Reviews by Digital Camera-HQ Users

Panasonic makes cameras that blend longer zoom ranges with image stabilization at a reasonable price. This undoubtedly helps the Panasonic digital cameras meet the requirements of photographers that desire versatility in a small package. Panasonic has a line of digital cameras, from ultra compacts to mirrorless cameras, which are great for both amateurs and serious enthusiasts. Every model has its own unique attributes and traits, making them hard to compare.

Consumers who enjoy using automatic modes will find Panasonic digital cameras very useful. The camera will automatically pick the right scene mode for the desired subject through use of the iAuto feature, which is standard for nearly all Panasonic cameras made today. This feature, combined with image stabilization will make it extremely simple for someone just starting out to take photos that look great.

Panasonic cameras are created to be user friendly, offering the user easy access to settings, and Panasonic digital camera reviews by consumers reflect this fact. Should you purchase a Panasonic camera, you'll see that it has an LCD screen, a versatile optical zoom lens, and is both lightweight and very compact.

There are some excellent choices among Panasonic's cameras, most notably the Panasonic Lumix ZS20. A GPS tracker, a 20x optical zoom lens, and image stabilization that will make sure your pictures are steady even when you're using maximum zoom are several of the features that make this camera a popular choice. The iAuto feature makes this a perfect choice for amateur photographers while it still includes manual modes as well. Although the image quality is not the best on the market, it still holds its own in regards to many competitors and that in combination with its other features makes it a great deal.
