Editor's Review

A bargain, the S2 includes optical image stabilization, a 4x zoom, 720p HD video, and a 14.1 megapixel sensor for a cool $100. Don't expect wonders from this little automatic camera, but the price in itself might just qualify as one.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-S2 Reviews

Panasonic Lumix DMC-S2 Reviews by Digital Camera-HQ Users

If you're trying to find a camera with a longer zoom range and image stabilization for an inexpensive price, Panasonic has many cameras that will get the job done. Without a doubt, this helps the Panasonic digital cameras meet the needs of photographers who need versatility in a small package. Panasonic has a selection of digital cameras, from ultra compacts to mirrorless cameras, which are suitable for both amateurs and serious enthusiasts. Every model has its own distinctive attributes and traits, making them hard to compare.

Panasonic cameras are great for users that enjoy using automatic modes. With the use of the iAuto feature, which is standard for almost all Panasonic cameras that are developed today, the camera will choose automatically the best scene mode for the desired subject. This feature, combined with image stabilization will really help beginners take excellent photos.

By providing users with easy access to settings, reviews are correct in pointing out that Panasonic cameras are made for maximum user friendliness. If you choose a Panasonic camera, you'll find that it possesses an LCD screen, an optical zoom lens which is very versatile, and is both lightweight and very compact.

There are some excellent choices among Panasonic's cameras, most notably the Panasonic Lumix ZS20. A GPS tracker, a 20x optical zoom lens, and image stabilization that will make sure your pictures are steady even when you're using maximum zoom are several of the features that make this camera a popular choice. Panasonic has included manual modes but the automatic modes and iAuto mode make the camera a perfect choice for amateurs as well. Image quality is quite competitive, too, although not the best on the market.
