Editor's Review

The SZ1 and SZ7, both under $200, are great travel zooms for those on a budget. Both have a powerful 10x zoom, optical image stabilization, and 3-inch LCD, but the SZ7 gains a CMOS sensor that does 1080p HD video at 60fps, stereo sound, and a higher resolution screen. Image quality is good but not great, with noise and accompanying noise reduction smearing detail away as early as ISO 400. If you're a Panasonic fan then the SZ7 is a great choice, otherwise take a look at offerings from Nikon and Sony.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ7 Reviews

Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ7 Reviews by Digital Camera-HQ Users

Panasonic produces cameras that provide both a longer zoom range and image stabilization at a price that's relatively cheap. For photographers that need versatility in a small package, Panasonic digital cameras can provide many selections that are suitable. Having something for amateurs and serious enthusiasts at the same time, Panasonic offers a great selection of digital cameras, from ultra compacts to mirrorless cameras. They can be hard to compare since every camera has its own distinctive features and traits.

Users who prefer to use automatic modes will find Panasonic digital cameras very useful. The camera will automatically select the perfect scene mode for a certain subject through use of the iAuto feature, which is standard for nearly all Panasonic cameras made today. This tool, in combination with image stabilization will make it very easy for inexperienced photographers to take photos they can be proud of.

By giving users easy access to settings, reviews are correct in pointing out that Panasonic cameras are made for maximum user friendliness. When you opt for a Panasonic camera, you will find that it possesses an LCD screen, a versatile optical zoom lens, and is both lightweight and fairly compact.

The Panasonic Lumix ZS20 is one of the many notably excellent choices among Panasonic cameras. A GPS tracker, a 20x optical zoom lens, and image stabilization that will make sure your pictures are steady even when you're using maximum zoom are several of the features that make this camera a popular choice. The iAuto feature makes this a perfect choice for amateur photographers while it still includes manual modes as well. Although the image quality is not the best on the market, it still holds its own in regards to many competitors and that in combination with its other features makes it a great deal.
