Panasonic Lumix FP8

Editor's Review

The Panasonic Lumix FP8 is a slim ultracompact that boasts a super-fast start-up time, folding optics (that means no protruding lens), and high-definition video recording. It's a lot like the Panasonic TS1, minus the waterproofing. If it's anything like that camera, quality-wise, the FP8 will be a real winner.

Panasonic Lumix FP8 Reviews by Digital Camera-HQ Users

If you're in the market for a camera with a longer zoom range and image stabilization for a reasonable price, Panasonic has many cameras that will suit you. This undoubtedly helps the Panasonic digital cameras meet the demands of photographers who need versatility in small packages. Having something for amateurs and serious enthusiasts alike, Panasonic has a wide range of digital cameras, from ultra compacts to mirrorless cameras. Each model comes with its own distinctive features and traits, which make them difficult to compare.

Panasonic cameras are perfect for people who like using automatic modes. Almost all Panasonic cameras made today include the iAuto feature, which automatically selects the best scene mode for a given subject. This tool, combined with image stabilization should really help beginners take excellent photos.

Panasonic cameras are designed to be user friendly, providing the user with easy access to settings, and Panasonic digital camera reviews by users reflect this fact. If you choose a Panasonic camera, you will see that it comes with an LCD screen, an optical zoom lens which is very versatile, and is both compact and fairly lightweight.

There are some excellent choices among Panasonic's cameras, most notably the Panasonic Lumix ZS20. This Panasonic digital camera includes a 20x optical zoom lens, a GPS tracker, and image stabilization to ensure steady shots even at the long end of the zoom range. Panasonic has included manual modes but the automatic modes and iAuto mode make the camera a perfect choice for amateurs as well. Image quality is quite competitive, too, although not the best on the market.
