just took some HD vids of my baby niece and the videos were very crisp and sharp. Even my nephew notice the difference between the video captured btw my FX48 (at 720p) and my Toshiba Camileo P10 (at 1080p) - the FX48 being sharper and more stable.
The only downside is the FX48 does not have zoom whilst recording. Still toying with it .... will do more tests when i go on my holiday soon.
the FX48 cost almost double of the P10, so i guess you get what you pay for.
