I've taken a lot of pictures but was not given a Ub cord to connect to computer nor a disc. Other cameras I have purchased included this item.

All cameras come with a USB cable. Perhaps you bought it used? Look in the manual for the model # of the USB cable and search for it online.

Hi Im planning to buy LS80 camera,but i have one question:Can i use LS80 as Card Reader ; just plug the USB and the removable drive appers ??? This is ver important for my job, i don want camera with only PTP or MTP transfer mode.

This is how almost all of the cameras work. What might be even one step better for you is if you bought an SD card reader, so you wouldn't even need the drivers for the camera.

I agree with Aditya on this. A SD card reader ( amazon.com/Sandisk-MicroMat... ) is your best bet, and you will save on camera battery life by using one too.

WHich digicam to buy out of these 2. Please tell me its Lumix LS80K.. If not which under 150$ cam could i prefer. IMage sharpness is highest priority

for comparison, you may want to check out this resource ( imaging-resource.com/IMCOMP... ). It takes pictures with each and you can compare them side by side. Unfortunately, I was unable to compare the A580 with the LS80, however, with a similar Panasonic model, I found the colors more accurate on the Pan. Which leads me back into the unknown and therefore, wanting to lean towards the A580. But the colors on the Pan were more accurate.
Therefore, I'm saying the Panny.
