The little brother to the Lumix LZ10, the LZ8 offers much of the same tech package at a significantly lower price. Though its sensor is 8.1-megapixel (two less than the LZ10) and its "wide angle" lens is 32mm to the LZ10's 30mm, it maintains all of its big brother's manual control options (Manual, Program, Aperture Priority, and Shutter Priority) and other enticing features like Intelligent Automatic Mode and a light-sensitive 2.5-inch LCD screen. In all, it's a very good bargain in a slick package.
