Editor's Review

The S1 is Panasonic’s lowest-end digital camera for 2011, but could still be a very good budget-minded option. It's a cheaper version of the also-announced S3; the only notable difference is the lower 12.1 megapixel count. Other specs are solid, if unremarkable, including a 4x zoom, optical image stabilization, and 720p HD. Stay tuned for more information.

Panasonic Lumix S1 Reviews

Panasonic Lumix S1 Reviews by Digital Camera-HQ Users

If you're looking for a camera with a longer zoom range and image stabilization for an inexpensive price, Panasonic has several cameras that will get the job done. Without a doubt, this helps the Panasonic digital cameras meet the needs of photographers who desire versatility in a small package. Panasonic has a line of digital cameras, from ultra compacts to mirrorless cameras, which appeal to both amateurs to serious enthusiasts. They are difficult to compare since each camera has its own distinctive features and traits.

Panasonic cameras are ideal for users who enjoy using automatic modes. With the use of the iAuto feature, which is included in nearly all Panasonic cameras that are currently produced, the camera will select automatically the best scene mode for any subject. This feature, combined with image stabilization will make it very easy for inexperienced photographers to take photos they can be proud of.

By giving users easy access to settings, reviews are correct in saying that Panasonic cameras are made for maximum ease of use. Should you purchase a Panasonic camera, you will discover that it possesses an LCD screen, a versatile optical zoom lens, and is both compact and fairly lightweight.

The Panasonic Lumix ZS20 is one of the many notably excellent choices among Panasonic cameras. A GPS tracker, a 20x optical zoom lens, and image stabilization that will make sure your pictures are steady even when you're using maximum zoom are several of the features that make this camera a popular choice. Panasonic has included manual modes but the automatic modes and iAuto mode make the camera a perfect choice for amateurs as well. Although the image quality is not the best on the market, it still holds its own in regards to many competitors and that in combination with its other features makes it a great deal.
