Editor's Review

The S3 is one of Panasonic’s lower-end models, but should still be a decent budget option. The 14.1 megapixel sensor, 720p HD video, optical image stabilization, and 28mm wide-angle 4x zoom are run of the mill. However, it uses the same Venus Engine VI processor as the capable shooters in the FH series, so performance could be surprisingly snappy. More info to come.

Panasonic Lumix S3 Reviews

Panasonic Lumix S3 Reviews by Digital Camera-HQ Users

If you're looking for a camera with a longer zoom range and image stabilization for a cost that's relatively inexpensive, Panasonic has many cameras that fit this description perfectly. Without a doubt, this helps the Panasonic digital cameras fulfill the demands of photographers that need versatility in small packages. Providing something for amateurs and serious enthusiasts at the same time, Panasonic has a great selection of digital cameras, from ultra compacts to mirrorless cameras. Every camera comes with its own unique features and traits, which make them difficult to compare.

Users who like using automatic modes will find Panasonic digital cameras very useful. Almost all Panasonic cameras made today include the iAuto feature, which will automatically select the best scene mode for a given subject. This tool, in combination with image stabilization should really help beginners take excellent photos.

Panasonic cameras are designed to be user friendly, providing the user with easy access to settings, and Panasonic digital camera reviews by users reflect this fact. If you buy a Panasonic camera, you'll find that it possesses an LCD screen, an optical zoom lens which is very versatile, and is both compact and fairly lightweight.

There are some excellent choices among Panasonic's cameras, most notably the Panasonic Lumix ZS20. This Panasonic digital camera includes a 20x optical zoom lens, a GPS tracker, and image stabilization to ensure steady shots even at the long end of the zoom range. The iAuto feature makes this a perfect choice for amateur photographers while it still includes manual modes as well. Image quality is quite competitive, too, although not the best on the market.
