Panasonic's top-of-the-line ruggedized camera, the TS4 is built to survive up to 40ft under water, is shockproof to 6.5, freezeproof to 14 degrees Fahrenheit, and dustproof. In addition to a GPS, the TS4 even includes an altimeter, compass, and barometer. Although lacking a CMOS sensor, the 12 megapixel TS4 still does 1080p video at 60fps and sports ISOs up to 6400. Image quality is among the best for all-weather cameras, similar to Nikon's AW100, and the GPS works extremely well. The zoom range is a decent 28-128mm 4.6x and those waterproofing numbers are impressive, but boy the cheaper TS20 is a great deal.

Reviews by Digital Camera-HQ Users
Panasonic makes cameras that blend longer zoom ranges with image stabilization at a reasonable price. This undoubtedly helps the Panasonic digital cameras meet the needs of photographers that require versatility in a small package. Panasonic has a selection of digital cameras, from ultra compacts to mirrorless cameras, which appeal to both amateurs to serious enthusiasts. Each model comes with its own unique features and traits, making them hard to compare.
People who like using automatic modes will find Panasonic digital cameras very useful. Almost all Panasonic cameras made today include the iAuto feature, which will automatically select the best scene mode for a given subject. This tool, in combination with image stabilization should really help beginners take excellent photos.
Panasonic cameras are made to be user friendly, providing the user with easy access to settings, and Panasonic digital camera reviews by users reflect this fact. If you choose a Panasonic camera, you'll find that it has an LCD screen, a versatile optical zoom lens, and is both lightweight and reasonably compact.
There are some excellent choices among Panasonic's cameras, most notably the Panasonic Lumix ZS20. This Panasonic digital camera includes a 20x optical zoom lens, a GPS tracker, and image stabilization to ensure steady shots even at the long end of the zoom range. The iAuto feature makes this a perfect choice for amateur photographers while it still includes manual modes as well. Image quality is quite competitive, too, although not the best on the market.
