In the very crowded travel zoom category, the RZ-18 does little to best the competition. Reviews point out the camera's poor image quality even at low ISOs, uncompetitive 720p HD video mode, and slow performance. The RZ-18's price has plummeted since release, however, so if you absolutely must have a long zoom range on the cheap then this might be your camera.
