The standout feature on the VS20 is the second shutter button, zoom toggle, and tripod mount on the side of the camera. Designed for taking pictures while in portrait orientation, we have to wonder if this was really a problem that needed solving. While the camera sports a 20x zoom, it's larger than we would like and doesn't have any other standout features. Unless your wrist hurts from all those portrait-orientation snapshots, or you absolutely crave a zoom that long, you should look somewhere else.

Just ordered the
PentaxVS 20 will this be easy to use and have a faster lag time than my Panasonic I have missed so many pictures due to the lag time I want a camera that I can point and shoot without all the complicated settings

I haven't used the Pentax, but I have a feeling you'll be disappointed with its speed. If you really want short shutter lag I'd check out some of the Sony cameras.
