Samsung is once again experimenting with screens, this time mounting the entire back of the MV800 on a hinge so that it can swing 180 degrees up and around. The theory is that, rather than including a small screen on the front of the camera like in their DualView line, this way the subject (most likely the photographer taking self-portraits), can see and interact with a much larger touchscreen. While we commend Samsung's effort, reviews have come down hard on the MV800 for its mediocre image quality, slow operation, and large price tag for the features. After the novelty of the screen wears off, the unimpressive camera you're left with will only breed frustration.
