Editor's Review
The Samsung ST66 and ST76 sit at the bottom rung of Samsung's digital
camera lineup. Both include a versatile 25-125mm lens that starts at
f2.5 (but slows to f6.3 at the long end) and a 16 megapixel CCD sensor.
The ST76, for $10 over its cheaper sibling, includes optical image
stabilization. We wish stabilization was standard by now. There isn't much so far for reviews, but what is out there notes slow flash recycle time and the use of Micro SD cards, which is a real annoyance.

Chris.....I had a new st76. It does not have ois. Only dis and it does not work in the video mode,only for still.
I contacted samsung and informed them their advertising is false.
I found out the hard way that they market the same model number of camera to different countries, but then add features like ois. Go figure, sounds like voodo marketing. The ones marketed in the US do not have ois. I had to send that camera back.

That's very odd! Sorry to hear that's the case, otherwise why charge more for the 76?

quite annoyed that there is no user manual or indeed a memory card included ,when I recieved my new samsung ST76 .further more what size memory card do I require,bought from AMAZON on oct 15th george brown

Any memory card size should work, that's just dependent on how many pictures you want to fit on the card. Assume about 200 pictures per gigabyte.

According to Samsung's spec sheet it does. You may be thinking of the ST66.
