Samsung TL105
Editor's Review
The TL105 looks to be a low-cost, compact snap-shooter with the added bonus of HD video. At 12 megapixels, 4x optical zoom, and only digital image stabilization, this is best suited for quick, easy portraits to go up on Facebook and other social networking sites. If that's what you're looking for, great, but don't expect gallery-quality art from this.

Windows Vista compatible? ( — 01/10/2011)
Is the Samsung TL105 compatible with Windows Vista computers? Thanks.

Any camera is compatible when you use a USB card reader to transfer your images. And that's how I recommend it. You plug it into your computer and then slide your memory card in. Windows will read it as a drive and it's a simple drag and drop from there. No finicky drivers or badly written software. And you can get any camera you want.

flashing orange light (Jen — 08/02/2010)
I just bought this camera and when I tried to charge it I got a flashing orange light. Has anyone else had this problem?

Are you sure that's not the indicator that it is actually charging? That's what it sounds like...a number of cameras a similar indicator. Otherwise, make sure the battery is inserted properly.

Can you correct red eye in a picture taken while it's still in the camera?

I think you're better doing it in software. Google's Picasa is free and has a really good redeye removal option.

I have the same problem with the battery charging door. It happened after the first time, won't stay close there after. I'm returning it tomorrow. Camera works great otherwise.

It was a manufacturing defect. It was apparent that it would probably happen again on another of the same camera. I returned it and upgraded to a Canon SD1300 ELPH. Beware I am sure this charging door will probably be an ongoing problem for this model.(the SD card did not to in the said slot)

Charger plug door problem (RyanB — 04/11/2010)
Anyone Else have the battery charging door not close after the first time charging. Love the camera but this is not acceptable.

Take it back, Ryan, while you can. If it's happening now, it's not going to get any better. But before you do, is the SD card slot in there as well? (they're usually stacked). If so, the card may not be properly seated so that the door can close.
