Samsung TL110
Editor's Review
Another 5x zoom compact with HD video, but usability and image quality are pretty good for the price. It does use microSD cards though, an unusual format that you may not have lying around at home. Samsung is definitely stepping up their game.

Do not waste your money on this camera. It is very bad quality has a very poor lens and takes pictures with a lot of noise. Do not be fooled with the 14 mp, should amplify the framework but not better than any previous model of 12 mp. For example, take the same object with a camera and went SL502 better than the TL110, the oldest showed sharpness and clarity. This showed that a failure of a camera, which has no quality and losing the objects and colors with too much noise!

The problem with the "more mp is better" myth is it's just that ... a myth. Unless you increase the size of the chip with the MP, you end up just making the chip less sensitive to light, not more, and that means more noise.

just read the description. image stabilization only on 110, and you get 5x zoom.

If the price were on par with the TL105 would you still suggest the TL105?

Probably -- the extra megapixels usually just cause extra noise.

Would I benefit from lowering the pixel setting then? I do prefer the 5x zoom over the 4x zoom.

Between this and the Samsung TL105, considering a $40 price difference, which would you say is the better deal?

The TL110 stuffs 2 more MP into the same size chip. That'll make the camera less sensitive to light and bring more noise to the low light party. Other than that, it's the same camera. Save your money.

the worst of all cameras

Do not waste your money on this camera. It is very bad quality has a very poor lens and takes pictures with a lot of noise. Do not be fooled with the 14 mp, should amplify the framework but not better than any previous model of 12 mp. For example, take the same object with a camera and went SL502 better than the TL110, the oldest showed most sharpness and clarity. This showed that a failure of a camera, which has no quality and losing the objects and colors with too much noise! I bought this camera hopeful it would be better than the previous model of 12 mp but it was worse. A total disappointment and also it broke. Besides taking pictures with bad quality and put a lot of noise in the camera footage is recorded very hot video, this made out a spot on the screen and after several days trying to cleanly remove but could not I follow using this camera and a warm day notice smoke rising from the lens. camera and take photo anymore, had broken the lock and in addition lens as an importer buys Unofficial had no warranty so try contacting the samsung tech support, and that was the worst thing you could do than buy this damn camera will not give me any answer just to take the camera to an authorized service but in my country is more expensive to repair so I asked them to spare the lens and I do not want to sell or not they told me where he could achieve. Search the Internet and no one has the replacement part so that ultimately the only thing I can do is buy another camera (other brand logically). Samsung anymore, do not support, does not have replacement parts for their products and have very bad treatment and poor attention. Instead brands like Sony, Panasonic products are recognized, better quality and durability. Find sold in many places Sony lenses w3xx series, the latest models and all its parts are available. You are very good quality. Conclusion, do not buy a samsung camera anymore or throw your money away as happened to me. The TL110 is a desperate attempt to get money, but this samsung product fails to compete with cameras or older and another best brands...
