The A65 is getting on in years, but it's still a great camera with a nice price. Here's what we had to say when it was first released in 2011:
The A77's cheaper companion, the A65 boasts the same best-in-class resolution 24.3 megapixel CMOS sensor, 1080p HD video at 60 fps, 2.4 million dot OLED viewfinder, and swivel LCD screen as its well-specified brother. If you don't need the better build or autofocus of the A77, the A65 is a lot of camera for just shy of a grand with the kit lens. The big dogs still don't have an answer for this feature set at this price.

Reviews by Digital Camera-HQ Users
Over the past thirty years, Sony has been a leader in the consumer electronics market. Sony produces cameras that are perfect for casual users, hobbyists, and professional photographers through dedicating themselves to using the most current technology with minimalist styling, resulting in an end result of the highest quality.
Sony's Newest Innovation in the Digital Camera Field
In September 2012, Sony announced the release of the Cybershot DSC-RX1, its latest camera. As indicated by Sony, this is the first full-frame compact digital camera available. A 24.3 megapixel full-frame sensor attached to a capable 35mm f2 lens makes this a very desirable camera. This camera that fits in your pocket produces professional-quality photos in a package that's comparatively small.
Two of the finest Sony digital cameras of 2012 as indicated by consumer ratings include the following:
* Sony Cybershot HX30V: For amazing photos and video in a package that's compact, but versatile, and perfect for consumers who love travelling, this is a perfect Sony digital camera. A GPS tracker, full HD video capability, and a very fast continuous burst mode make this 18.2 megapixel camera one that is heavy on extras. It's also sought after for its fast performance. * Sony Cybershot HX200V: This model has been rated by consumers as one of Sony's best digital cameras asa result of its very large 35x optical zoom and fast burst mode. The lack of RAW capture makes it quite apparent that Sony is aiming the camera at a market that's more amateur than some of the competition. Sony digital camera reviews rate the HX200's image quality as good to excellent, and video quality is one of the the best you can get.
Reviews for most Sony cameras can be found on this site. They have a broad product line of digital cameras suitable for photographers of any skill level. You will be totally happy with the end result regardless of which Sony digital camera you decide on.
