The T99 is yet another ultra-sleek model in the pricey Sony T series. This looks to be a pretty standard ultracompact shooter, circa 2010, with a 14 megapixel CCD sensor and run-of-the-mill 4x zoom lens. The 3-inch touchscreen certainly drives up the price and drains the battery life, but it does round out the camera's sleek design, which is the T99's strong point: cool curves in a small body. If that's your thing then the T99 will suit you just fine, just be aware that you're paying for form over function. It's been replaced by the T110 model, though it's still competitively priced.
