Sony Cybershot S750
Editor's Review
With a price and feature set aimed squarely at entry-level digital photographers, the Sony Cybershot S750 would be a good pick as a small, lightweight go-anywhere camera for a more experienced photographer or a first rig for a total newbie. In its extremely small and ergonomic frame it packs a 7.2-megapixel sensor, a 3x optical zoom lens, face detection, and a high sensitivity ISO 1200 mode for shooting in low light. In other words, it's got everything you need for snapshots, party shots, and general day-to-day shooting.

Sony Cybershot S750 Comments & Questions (write your own!)
well u guys r talking about the battery... my s750 is showing an error saying " for use with compatible battery only... i've bought a new battery n tried it with that also but its still the same... can u please help... its just been a year old.. but yea my usage is very high..
But as for your zoom being stuck, try cycling the camera on/off several times. Lenses can sometimes get knocked out of alignment by a wayward jarring or even a drop of a few inches. Cycling the camera on/off will help the lens work it's way back in.
But never force the lens, you could stip the rails.
But if these basic steps don't help, then you're probably needing to have the camera repaired.
Also, you may want to see if there's a firmware update which will address the issue at Sony's website. I'd also try using your presets to see if it changes there. And if they're overexposed taking flash pictures, then I'd say your either too close to your subject or need to adjust the exposure using the exposure compensation.
If that persists, then perhaps you need to send it in for a look see. But I'm betting you're just expecting it to look just like it does on the camera and it simply can't because you're going to three separate mediums.

These would be the same as what you use in S600.
S600 lens wouldn't open probably has nothing to do with the memory stick. Chances are the memory stick of your S600 are still working and can be used in S750.
2. click the T button at the top (the one that would be used to zoom out)
3. click delete button
4. click delete all
When I follow your 4 step process,
1. Click view button in lower left
2. Click T button in upper right ( screen clicks and Q x 1.1)
3. Click Delete button in lower right ..... and nothing happens ....
Can you help ?
Dave
digital-photo-software-guid... this helps.
If Sony claims impact damage and refuses to repair it for free, the one thing you can try is to gently, and I do mean GENTLY push against the lens with the PALM of your hand as you turn it on, it may cause it to depress back into the camera. If that doesn't work, and you can't reset it or turn it on/off several times, then you may have to send it in for a repair estimate anyway.
But understand that the average cost of a camera repair is around $180.
Sony cameras are male? LOL.
Most digital cameras only do a digital printing on the image file (not the image itself). This camera falls into that category. You can add the date yourself in photo editing software though before printing. Good luck and happy shooting.

As the digital file is marked by a date and time when it's saved, the use of a date stamp feature in digital cameras has lost popularity amongst camera manufacturers as a feature. Sorry, but the AS710A's postcard feature may be the best you can do unless you're willing to add the date/time after the fact.
Check out MAGTIME - filedudes.com/MagiTime-down... it's an application which adds date/time to the picture. But beware, once you do it, it can't be undone.
The date and time settings are displayed after turning on the camera.
Follow the steps below to troubleshoot this issue.
NOTE: It is normal for the camera to loose time and date settings when left uncharged for an extended period of time.
1. Connect the camera AC adapter, and leave the camera in the charging state (powered off) for 12 hours.
2. Set the time and date in the camera.
3. Turn off the camera.
4. Turn on the camera.
5. Check to see if the date and time have been saved.
